MTN Ghana has introduced new speed-based Unlimited Fibre packages for households across the country. These packages offer customers faster internet connectivity, greater flexibility, and improved value, addressing the surging demand for reliable home broadband.
The refreshed packages provide internet speeds of up to 100Mbps, 300Mbps, and 500Mbps. These speeds allow multiple online activities to run simultaneously in homes. This includes remote work, virtual learning, video streaming, gaming, and smart home applications. The new plans feature unlimited data and flexible subscription choices for both new and existing fibre customers.
This initiative aligns with a broader trend of increasing internet dependence in Ghana. He highlighted its importance for online learning, remote work, enterprise operations, and family entertainment. He added that MTN aims to ensure every home has access to reliable, high-speed internet as the company celebrates 30 years in Ghana.
The new fibre plans give customers the freedom to select speeds that best suit their household requirements. Customers can opt for the GHS 299 monthly plan for speeds up to 100Mbps. The GHS 444 monthly plan provides speeds up to 300Mbps. For the highest speed, the GHS 999 monthly plan offers up to 500Mbps. Subscribers choosing longer periods receive discounted rates: 5% for quarterly, 7% for semi-annual, and 10% for annual subscriptions. These packages are available through the MyMTN App, MTN's Self-Service Portal, and the *5057# shortcode. This release by MTN Ghana underscores its commitment to innovative connectivity solutions.
