She stated, “The Port of Philadelphia (PhilaPort) is seeking to expand its maritime logistics by establishing direct supply chain linkages with Ghana.” She added, “We are convinced the roundtable would kickstart a great collaboration to increase international trade between Ghana and the United States, using PhilaPort which has several comparative advantages over other US ports.” This reflects a clear intent to foster inclusive trade and neighborhood economic development in Philadelphia.

The maiden US–Ghana Business Roundtable on Logistics was organized by the US–Ghana Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Bethel Logistics Company Limited. All key stakeholders in the Ghanaian logistics sector attended the event. The roundtable concluded with a visit to the Port of Tema, Ghana's largest and most vital port, coordinated by the Ghana Ports & Harbours Authority (GPHA). This visit allowed the US delegation to gain firsthand insight into Ghana's port operations. The US–Ghana Chamber of Commerce affirmed its commitment to strengthening economic ties between the two nations by facilitating investment and trade across key growth sectors.
