The incident was reported to the GNFS at 4:20 p.m., with the BOST Fire Post appliance arriving at the scene shortly thereafter at 5:02 p.m. Such fuel spillages, particularly involving large volumes of diesel, pose considerable risks to local ecosystems and public health.
