Serwaa Nyarko Girls’ Senior High School has secured the eighth qualification slot for the Ashanti Region in the 2026 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) Championship. The Kumasi-based school achieved this by narrowly defeating Wesley High School, Bekwai, by a single point in a fiercely contested qualifier.
Serwaa Nyarko Girls’ SHS finished the competition with 49 points. They overcame an initial challenge from Adu Gyamfi Senior High School, which led in the first round. Wesley High School finished second with 48 points, while Adu Gyamfi SHS secured 46 points. Tawheed Senior High School placed fourth with 8 points.
