Cowbell distributed 10,000 complete breakfast servings to students in Ashanti Region basic schools. The event marked World Milk Day. The brand aimed to promote nutrition among young Ghanaians. It took place in Kumasi on June 1, 2026.

The theme was "role of women in dairy and nourishment". Schools like T.I Ahmadiyya Basic School received the servings. Afaus Lovely School and Best Brain International School also participated. World Milk Day, established by the Food and Agriculture Organisation in 2001, is observed every June 1. It highlights milk's global importance.

Promasidor Ghana (PGH) has supported community nutrition since 2020. Previous initiatives include partnerships with the 37 Military Hospital. These involved nutrition assessment programs. They targeted deprived communities with health screenings. Education on good feeding practices was also provided. This dairy initiative contributes to broader public health goals. It supports the consumption of nutrient-rich foods.

Michael Hagan, PGH Marketing Manager, thanked Ghanaians for 27 years of support. "Treating our young ones to a quality breakfast shows our commitment to the well-being of Ghanaians, especially children," he stated. Cowbell is rich in protein and vitamins like A, B9, C, D, E, and K. These support cognitive development. They provide energy and boost the immune system. This year's event included health screening and nutrition talks. These activities were held alongside product sampling.

Jessica Adjei Aduwaa, Customer Care and Corporate Manager at Asafo Boakye Hospital, commented on milk's importance. "Milk plays a vital role in a child’s growth and development," she said. Aerly years are crucial for brain development. Regular milk intake strengthens muscles. It helps maintain healthy body functions. The hospital partnership involved assessing students' body mass index. Advice was given for overweight or underweight students.

School heads praised Cowbell's long-term investments. They recognised the brand's commitment to student development. Promasidor's activities align with UN Sustainable Development Goals. Goal 2 addresses zero hunger. Goal 3 focuses on good health and well-being. Goal 4 aims for quality education. These global targets are supported by local community efforts. Such initiatives showcase corporate social responsibility. They create positive impact far beyond the initial event.

Future plans include quarterly nutrition education sessions for parents and school stakeholders. These will cover affordable nutritious breakfast options. They will also address the role of milk in children's growth. Practical ways to enhance daily nutrition will be shared. This ongoing engagement strengthens the brand's community ties. It also promotes sustained healthy eating habits. The commitment extends for the next six months.
