Evans Kyere-Mensah, Chief Executive Officer of Agricwealth Ghana, will serve as a distinguished speaker at the Ohio Growth Conclave 2026. The invitation, extended on August 24, 2026, positions a prominent Ghanaian business leader on an international platform.

The two-day event will take place from October 29 to 30, 2026, at the Hilton at Easton Columbus in Ohio, United States. Its central theme is “Agribusiness, Technology, Trade, Systems, Scale and Synergy — Unlocking Africa’s Investment Future.” This focus aims to attract crucial investment and foster collaboration between Africa and the City of Columbus.

Ghana's agricultural sector remains a cornerstone of its economy, contributing significantly to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and employment. Events like the Ohio Growth Conclave provide vital avenues for Ghanaian companies to attract foreign direct investment (FDI). Such engagements are crucial for modernizing farming practices and boosting agricultural exports, aligning with national development goals.

Edward Twumasi, Summit Host of the Ohio Growth Conclave, extended the invitation in partnership with Agricwealth Ghana. The organizers stated that Mr. Kyere-Mensah’s presence would significantly impact fostering strong trade, investment, and cultural diplomacy. This highlights the strategic importance of Ghanaian representation at such global economic forums.

The conclave expects approximately 200 participants, including government officials, diplomats, and investors. Discussions will cover agribusiness, sustainable farming, technology, and trade. These topics are critical for Ghana, which seeks to diversify its economy and enhance value addition in its primary sectors. Increased foreign investment can lead to job creation and improved economic stability.

Mr. Kyere-Mensah also hosts the Africa Agriculture, Trade & Investment Summit. He serves as Global Agritech and Climate Innovation Advisor to the Students Workforce Innovation Movement (SWIM). His extensive experience in agricultural investment and innovation makes him a key voice for Africa’s economic prospects.

The organizers cited their track record in convening investment-focused events, including the Africa Agriculture Investment Summit in London in 2024 and 2025. They also referenced similar summits in Toronto in 2025 and Columbus in 2026. These events have successfully built networks around agricultural investment mobilization and youth participation.

The Ohio Growth Conclave will bring together public and private sector stakeholders from Africa, North America, and other regions. They will examine practical opportunities for trade and investment. This provides a direct channel for Ghanaian and other African stakeholders to engage international investors and policymakers.

Mr. Kyere-Mensah’s confirmed participation will offer a significant opportunity for Ghana to showcase its investment potential. It will also allow for direct engagement with global business leaders on the continent’s economic outlook. Such high-level participation can unlock new partnerships and funding for Ghana’s agribusiness sector, driving economic growth and development.
