Agri-Impact Limited conducted high-level discussions with Israeli Ambassador to Ghana, Roey Gilad, to strengthen cooperation in Ghana's agricultural sector.

These discussions centered on key areas, including greenhouse farming, aquaculture, irrigation, and agricultural innovation. The meeting aimed to identify opportunities for deeper collaboration to support sustainable agricultural growth in Ghana.

This recent engagement builds on the success of the Ghana–Israel Agribusiness Innovation Forum. The Embassy of Israel in Ghana and Agri-Impact Limited jointly organized this forum on May 6, 2026, in Accra. The forum gathered stakeholders from Ghana's tomato and soybean value chains. It explored innovative solutions, strategic partnerships, and investment opportunities to transform the agricultural sector.

Agri-Impact's Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Daniel Fahene Acquaye, led the delegation. Other members included Deputy CEO Mrs. Juliana Asante-Dartey and Chief Agribusiness Architect Larry Selorm Amekuse. Head of Greenhouse & Innovations Prince Kofi Boateng also participated in the discussions. The company stated the talks focused on accelerating technology adoption and attracting increased investment into Ghana's agribusiness industry.

Cooperation between Ghanaian agribusinesses and international partners is crucial for addressing productivity challenges. It also helps improve food security and enhances the competitiveness of local agricultural value chains. Agri-Impact believes partnerships promoting innovation, knowledge exchange, and investment build a more productive and resilient agribusiness sector. Continued engagement with Israeli partners will facilitate the adoption of advanced agricultural technologies and best practices. This will boost yields and improve efficiency across Ghana's agricultural landscape.

The agricultural sector is a cornerstone of Ghana's economy, contributing significantly to its Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Enhancing productivity and adopting modern techniques are essential for Ghana's food security and economic diversification goals. Ghana's Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MOFA) has consistently emphasized the need for technological upgrades and foreign investment. This is in line with national agricultural development policies. Such partnerships are vital for Ghana to achieve its 'Planting for Food and Jobs' initiative objectives.

The partnership's implications suggest a focus on tangible project development and technology transfer. Decision-makers and investors will closely monitor the implementation of identified opportunities. Success in these areas could attract further foreign direct investment into Ghana's agribusiness. It could also lead to a measurable increase in agricultural output and efficiency through advanced Israeli expertise.
